SS-650

THE WORLD’S FIRST ELECTRICALLY STIMULATED SNORE STOPPER

Our revolutionary and innovative snore stopper is designed with a patented biological negative feedback mode to reduce the frequency and volume of snoring. A specially designed biosensor used in conjunction with controllable IC detects 3 successive snores over 65 decibels and emits a weak impulse lasting 4 seconds long to the skin of the user. This will induce a reflex that causes a rapid change in sleep position and improves the snoring problem.

NEWS ABOUT SNORING

DID YOU KNOW THAT SNORING CAN DAMAGE YOUR HEALTH?
Is that hard to believe? Snoring is an early warning sign for respiratory arrest syndrome. Patients with respiratory arrest syndrome can experience temporary respiratory arrest for 30 seconds up to 1 minute during their sleep, resulting in a rapid reduction in oxygen content. This has a detrimental effect on the patients’ health.

SNORING CAN INCREASE THE CHANCE OF STROKE
Medical research has revealed that people who sleep for more than 8 hours a day and snore or doze off during the day, have a greater chance of having a stroke. Most of the people described above usually have respiratory arrest syndrome with varying severity. People with this problem experience temporary respiratory arrest, which gives rise to loud snores. Because of a lack of deep sleep during the night these people doze off during the day. Therefore, if you suffer from severe snoring or constantly dozing off while feeling tired during the day, you should see a doctor for a thorough health examination to find the cause. These are warning signs of respiratory arrest syndrome, which increases the chance of getting a stroke.

THE CORRELATION BETWEEN SNORING AND HYPERTENSION
Have you noticed snoring or abnormal respiratory signs during your sleep? A large scientific study carried out by scientists at the Johns Hopkins University School of Hygiene and Public Health revealed that snoring and respiratory arrest syndrome are related to hypertension in elderly people, among which the problem was most apparent in obese individuals. At this point, the scientists have yet come up with an adequate explanation for such correlation.

THE DIFFERENCES OF BLOOD OXYGEN CONTENT IN NORMAL INDIVIDUAL AND THOSE WITH RESPIRATORY ARREST SYNDROME
Under normal respiratory circumstances, the oxygen content in the body is approximately between 97–100%. However, in people with respiratory arrest syndrome, the oxygen content is only 60–80%, which leads to a higher risk of sudden heart attacks, strokes, and other health problems.

DOES SNORING AFFECT THE HEALTH OF THEIR PARTNER?
Researchers from Avesta, a sleep center in Sweden, have investigated 500 women who had come forth for treatment due to their husband snoring at night. The study had discovered that over 10% of these women were unable to work normally due to a lack of sleep. This result indicated that their sleep quality is affected the snoring of partner. Poor sleep quality is correlated with tiredness. If this chronic problem continues it not only leads to medical issues, but also many symptoms such as severe headache, lethargy, and others. Furthermore, the investigation also revealed that these women were more likely to experience a certain degree of depression. For most people, especially those whose partners do not snore, believe that living with people who snore is not a serious issue. This leads to those women who are feeling troubled over this issue to feel that they are not being understood, making them feel depressed. Snoring is a troublesome disturbance for people who have partners who snore. They all look forward to never having to struggle again with the snoring of their partners. Currently, this problem concerns over 44% of men and over 30% of women globally. Of course, as people age, this problem becomes more severe.

IS IT TRUE THAT SNORING WILL LEAD TO MALE SEXUAL DYSFUNCTION?
One of the reports from an English MD–PhD indicated that snoring can lead to male sexual dysfunction. According to one study, snoring leads to a reduced secretion of testosterone, a male hormone. This leads to sexual dysfunction when the hormone drops past a certain level. Temporary respiratory arrest occurs during the sleep of snoring individuals. In these people, there is a reduction of air passing from the nasal or oral cavity to the lungs, leading to a drop in testosterone as the oxygen level in the body drops.
